Corrections officer arrested in Martin County

Police say year-old Reuben McClain and year-old Reginald Scott face felony charges including armed robbery, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping and burglary. Police say year-old Rene M. Yanez, who police arrested while fleeing from the scene of the crime, will face a first-degree murder charge for the killing of Julian Zepeda.

Jovante Lamar Fryson II, 20, and Amauje Jason Ferguson, 23, were sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to bank robbery amd conspiracy to commit bank robbery. Fryson was sentenced to nine years and Ferguson received a seven-year sentence. Tysheere Traymar Ford, 25, was sentenced earlier to 12 years for the same crimes. Police say year-old Joel Zubiate hid in his ex-girlfriend's home, where he held her against her will. He put holes in her walls and tried to set the home on fire. TPD says the suspect, year-old Cully Hartnett, is in custody.

He faces charges of domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence kidnapping and aggravated domestic violence. He was booked into Pima County Jail. As of Wednesday morning, no bond had been set. Police arrested 29 year-old Steven Prescott on 4 counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

In a school zone when flashers are blinking, stop and yield to pedestrians crossing the crosswalk or intersection. Always stop for a school patrol officer or crossing guard holding up a stop sign.
